Tidworth Job Fair 2017 – Wednesday 15 March 2017

Headquarters South West will be running a Job Fair in Tidworth Garrison Theatre on Wednesday 15 March 2017.  At the event will be over 60 regional and national employers, as well as recruitment agencies who are specifically looking to recruit Service Leavers, Veterans and Spouses.  A wide variety of industry sectors will be represented, including (but not exclusively): health, care, construction, transport, communications, tourism & leisure, manufacturing, bio sciences & pharmaceutical, finance and defence.

During the day a series of presentations/seminars will be delivered by outside experts on the following topics:

  • 1030hrs – The Service Leaver’s Journey – from Service Leavers who have successfully made the journey into a successful military career
  • 1130hrs – CTP – what CTP offer & how to get the most out of your Resettlement
  • 1230hrs – The Business Perspective – what an employer is looking for when recruiting
  • 1330hrs – Spouses – advice & guidance on the path to employment for spouses & partners

All military personnel in Resettlement are encouraged to attend – even if you are not sure where you wish to settle or what job you are looking for, use the opportunity to speak to businesses who are looking to recruit from the military community to help develop your Resettlement planning.  Unique to the Tidworth Job Fair will be a number of employers and agencies specifically attending to recruit/offer advice to spouses and partners also looking for employment.
