Families weeks – we take a Service family sailing in Cornwall and out of their normal environment. Helping them re-engage with each other after separation.

Zero to Hero – in which we support individual Service personnel who have fallen on particularly hard times to reach RYA Yachtmaster Cruising Instructor and reintegrate them with a career in the marine industry. Provision of a personal Yachtmaster mentor, 1 to 1 support where needed, flexibility to extend the course, career advice and support to enter the marine industry.

RYA courses – provided for groups who have experienced or been affected by operations. RYA Day Skipper courses provide an opportunity to share experiences in a unique environment.

Tall Ship experience – The Princes Trust have gifted us the 92ft Pilot Schooner previously called ‘Spirit of Fairbridge’. She has 18 berths to facilitate larger groups with traditional gaff rigged Tall Ship sailing. Amongst other trips we are planning a ‘Round Britain’ experience in June 2015.

Boat Build project – currently we rely on boat charter to facilitate our sailing. To ensure our long term future we are building a Rustler 42 specifically for our beneficiaries. We also hope to access boat building courses on our project for veterans or those transitioning.

The UK Veterans Hearing Foundation supports former Armed Forces personnel affected

by hearing loss, tinnitus, and other hearing-related conditions linked to military service.

We help veterans access specialist hearing assessments, hearing aids, assistive

technology, treatment, and ongoing support to improve their health, wellbeing, and

quality of life.

Our charity works to reduce barriers to hearing care by providing guidance, practical

assistance, and access to funding where needed. We also raise awareness of the impact

that service-related hearing conditions can have on communication, employment, mental

health, and social inclusion.

By working with hearing care professionals, healthcare providers, and veteran support

organisations, we ensure veterans receive the support they need to remain connected,

independent, and confident in civilian life. Our mission is to improve hearing health

outcomes and ensure that no veteran faces the challenges of hearing loss or tinnitus alone.

The UK Veterans Hearing Foundation supports veterans whose hearing loss, tinnitus, and

associated wellbeing challenges are linked to their military service. We provide access to

hearing assessments, hearing aids, tinnitus support, and ongoing aftercare, helping

veterans overcome the long-term effects of noise exposure experienced during their time

in the Armed Forces. Our services are designed to improve communication, confidence,

independence, and overall quality of life for veterans and their families. The charity works

nationwide to ensure that former service personnel can access specialist hearing support

regardless of location.

We specialise in veterans’ hearing health, with particular expertise in military-related

hearing loss and tinnitus. Since 2016, we have helped veterans access advanced hearing

technology, specialist audiology services, and tailored support programmes that address

both hearing difficulties and their wider impact on wellbeing. Our team works with

audiology professionals and partner organisations to deliver practical, life-changing

interventions that help veterans reconnect with family, work, and their communities.

Veterans’ Growth provides horticultural therapy to veterans facing mental health issues.
Set amidst beautiful Sussex farmland, our site offers a relaxing green space where veterans can come to immerse themselves in nature and learn horticultural skills.
During their time on site, participants socialise with other veterans, gain confidence, knowledge and experience and some go on to find employment within the industry.
The charity also conducts woodland management and green woodwork, alongside Mechanics and Carpentry skills.
The aim of the charity is to provide support and a place on the programme to every veteran in the UK who wants to attend and/or is unable to access help through other channels.
If one life is saved as a result of contact with the charity, we will call it a success.
