Our dedicated Armed Forces Community programme provides specialist support for military personnel, veterans and their families. We help people to lead a fulfilling life not hindered by dependence. We do this by acknowledging the specific experiences of people in the armed forces community, capitalising on the strengths of military identity and using this to enhance recovery. Women’s Royal Army Corps Association

Maintaining contact between former members of the Auxiliary Territorial Service (ATS), Women’s Royal Army Corps and women still serving in the Army, fostering mutual friendship between them and providing for social gatherings. Fostering esprit de corps, comradeship, welfare, and preserving the traditions of the QMAAC, ATS, and WRAC.

To promote the interests and welfare of persons who have served in the Corps in such ways as are charitable in law; and the relief of persons in need who are either: persons who have served in the Corps; or the children or dependents of any person (alive or dead) who has served in the Corps.

Woody’s Lodge provides a meeting space for those that have served in the Armed Forces or their families to meet like-minded people. We have staff who can help with advice on benefits and from filling and if the need arises we signpost to the appropriate organisation that can assist further with Mental health, housing, debt management, pensions etc.

X-Forces Enterprise CIC

X-Forces supports serving Armed Forces personnel, Veterans, Reservists, and their families to start-up UK businesses, by delivering mentoring, training, support and start-up loans. We also support Cadets with enterprise for life skills.

We are passionate in our ambition to change the lives and career opportunities for the military community. We have, as of March 2021, lent £22.9M in seed-funding and provided over 37,500 hours of vital mentoring and training.

We work directly with numerous military charities to deliver enterprise training through business planning programmes for the Armed Forces community. These programmes help those who are interested in setting up their own business to make informed decisions, and acquire the tools, knowledge and support they need to succeed.

X-Forces is the Business Enterprise Trainer for the Career Transition Partnership (CTP), a partnering agreement between Right Management and the Ministry of Defence.
