The Soldiering On Awards judges co-chaired by General the Lord Dannatt and Debra Allcock-Tyler have selected a group of Finalists whose stories are representative of the diverse range of nominations received from throughout the armed forces community and beyond: individuals, charities, groups and businesses, all with amazing stories of personal achievements and support for others. Each demonstrating the positive attitude and capability of all from our community.

This week we are delighted to congratulate Battling On CIC, Cobseo Housing Cluster and Nick Wood from York St John University – our wonderful finalists for the Forces in Mind Trust Working Together award category, sponsored by Forces in Mind Trust.

Last night saw the 2018 award finalists gather together for a special celebratory reception held at the House of Lords.

The evening’s host, Soldiering On Awards President, General the Lord Dannatt, welcomed 170 guests, including our 41 finalists along with their nominators, to the Cholmondeley Room and Terrace at the Palace of Westminster.

Speaking during the event, Lord Dannatt praised all the finalists. “Now into its eighth year, the Soldiering On Awards exists to unite all of our community, together in a common purpose. Our aim is to recognise the achievements of the entire diverse group of people who have served their country, including our Reserve Forces and Cadets.”

This week we are delighted to congratulate Defence Medical Welfare Service, Deptherapy & Deptherapy Education, Dr Aamer Khan: Back On Track, and Military and Police Support (MAPS) – our inspiring finalists for the Healthcare and Rehabilitaiton award category, sponsored by Redwood Technologies Group.

10th January 2018 sees the announcement of 43 amazing Finalists for the 2018 Soldiering On Awards from all areas of the UK and all walks of life. All will go forward to Awards Night on the 20th April.
