Are you looking for a rewarding role within a fast-paced environment?

We seek a creative and passionate Content Creator to join our fundraising and marketing team. You will be based in Salisbury but be able to cover occasional evening and weekend to cover an event. You will be responsible for creating graphics and artwork to support the activities for our charity, supporting the needs of the operational, fundraising, marketing and retail teams. Your will manage the production of visual projects, including, but not limited to , the creation of signage, publications, video and digital assets. This role will assist in delivering the Communications Strategy, Fundraising, Marketing and Retails Plans.

This post is 20 hours per week Monday – Friday hours to be agreed with occasional evening and weekend.

In return for this, we are looking for someone who has

  • Design qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of design/print procedures for both internal and external production.
  • Excellent analytic, interpersonal, organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • proficient in the use of word processing, spreadshetts, desktop publishing, databases, website updating and monitoring software, social media and research tools.
  • Ability to coodinate a variety of tasks whilst working to agreed priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work unsupervised as well as being a team player.
  • Experience of Adobe.
  • Experience in working with internal and external contacts and maintaining relationships.
  • Experience in working to tight deadlines.
  • Car driver essential with access to a road worthy vehicle and business insurance.

Alabaré are committed to ensuring the wellbeing and safety of all our service users, this includes developing, implementing and maintaining effective recruitment policies and procedures to promote the safeguarding of children, young people and vulnerable adults. Before commencing employment, the HR Department undertakes pre-employment checks on all applicants who have been offered a job with the Charity. These checks include an Enhanced DBS, which will be renewed every 3 years, the right to live and work in the UK, as well as two satisfactory references.

All staff will be required to complete training on Safeguarding Adults and Young People within their first week of employment.
