Alabaré are recruiting for a full time Housing Support Worker to work with homeless
Veterans. Do you have the passion, empathy and energy to enable someone to change his or her life through your support and guidance?
We need someone who is able to work with partnership agencies, know how and when to signpost and understand the complex needs that are associated with homeless veterans.
This position calls for a flexible approach and will involve assisting the Manager to develop innovative and effective practice relating to team building, service user involvement, key working and outcome monitoring as required internally and by the funders to support veterans to lead fulfilling and independent lives.
This post is based in Bristol. You will be contracted to work 37.5 hours per week with an hourly salary of £10.20 rising to £10.60 on completion of a successful probationary period. Annual salary, £19,980 – £20,670. This role may involve some weekend and Bank Holidays, all Bank Holidays are paid double time.
