Heropreneurs is a military charity, founded in 2009, that supports the entrepreneurial business ventures of the military community. We directly supports the ambition of many current and former military personnel or their partners through one-to-one mentoring and hands-on guidance, given freely, by some of the country’s most successful business leaders. We are continually growing the number of beneficiaries of the Mentoring Programme by 40% year on year and we look to maintain that trajectory. Many more have been helped through digital channels, networking events and workshops.
We are seeking a Volunteer Copywriter to support us in the development of marketing materials and learning resources to enhance the experience of our beneficiaries and increase our reach in the UK military community.
Supporting our Marketing and Partnerships Manager, responsibilities will include interviewing our beneficiaries and mentors to capture feedback and writing appropriate reports for our website and funding providers and attending some of our workshops, creating written reports for learning resources and marketing purposes.
The ideal candidate will be a competent writer and confident interviewer, knowledge of business start up concerns and/or the UK military community are desirable although not essential. Hours can be flexible although our monthly events are held during office hours. Appropriate expenses will be covered.
