The Museum’s mission is to tell the story of Our Army and the people who have served in it; to inspire, engage and educate, though our World Class Museum and Collections. Through our five thematic galleries and our innovative exhibition and events programme, the public can explore what it’s like to be a soldier, why we fought in conflicts – past and present, and discover the impact the Army has had on our society.
(Full-Time, Permanent Appointment – London based) – £25,388pa (plus benefits)
We are seeking Events Assistants to join our growing, passionate and dedicated team. This is a role in which you will be the initial point of contact for all corporate and Army event hire enquiries. The successful candidate will manage and co-ordinate event hire enquiries and use exceptional communication skills; to engage clients, ensuring that our reputation is maintained, whilst generating income opportunities.
The successful candidate will have at least 6 months experience in an events, hospitality or customer facing operation, be highly organised, able to multi-task, be a team player, enjoy interacting with clients, have a positive outlook and will be hands-on in the planning, co-ordination and set up of events. Enthusiastic, personable and motivated, the successful candidate will be able to confidently take on responsibility and relish the opportunity to make a positive contribution to the growth of our venue hire offer and further develop their skills and knowledge.
