The Museum’s mission is to tell the story of Our Army and the people who have served in it; to inspire, engage and educate, though our World Class Museum and Collections. Through our galleries and innovative exhibitions and public programme, the public can explore what it’s like to be a soldier, why we fought in conflicts – past and present, and discover the impact the Army has had on our society.

We are looking for people to join us as part of our journey as an inspiring, vibrant and successful world-class Museum.

Research Development Manager – £37,000pa (pro-rata) (Plus Benefits)

(Part-Time, Permanent Position, London Based)

We are seeking to appoint a part-time Research Development Manager who will be responsible for proactively identifying, developing, and delivering external funding streams to support research and public history at the National Army Museum.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of securing external funding for a heritage, higher education, research institute, or similar organization, and experience of producing a case for support and other fundraising marketing materials.

Our vision is to build a vibrant and world-leading centre of scholarship by expanding our research agenda and growing our capacity. Identifying and securing external funding to support research activity, publications and fellowships will be essential to this endeavour.
