Hours: 20 hours per week (Monday to Friday 09:30-13:30, although hours are to be worked flexibly and are negotiable)
Salary: *£17,108- £18,000 (*Starting salary) per annum, pro rata.
Location: Home based, with occasional working at our Newbridge Office in Newport, Wales.

This home based role is ideal for somebody looking for flexibility in their work-life balance. Full training, home-working equipment and out of hours IT support will be provided and working hours and work pattern is negotiable.
The RAF Association is looking for a volunteer coordinator, who is articulate, confident, a good people person and is able to motivate others. They need to help recruit volunteers for a wide variety of exciting volunteering roles. The post holder will take responsibility for recruitment of volunteers in the Association’s Wales, Midland and South West Area and respond to any volunteering enquiries.
Working for the Volunteer Manager and alongside the area team, the Area Volunteer Coordinator will provide networking, publicity, and administrative services for all regional volunteering recruitment activities. They will help to build contacts with the local communities within their region and undertake occasional recruitment events and talks from which the Association will recruit volunteers.
The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in volunteering and an appreciation of the value of volunteers, be Office 2010 or higher proficient, have previous administrative and recruiting experience, as well as the ability to organise interesting and interactive events or talks.
