A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time Community Fundraising Officer in the Fundraising Department at SSAFA, the UK’s oldest national tri-service military charity.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced community fundraiser to identify key supporters and ensure they receive the highest possible standard of supporter care. You will build productive networks with community based groups as well as plan and deliver new fundraising products. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to strategy and make the role your own.

Requirements

To carry out this role successfully you will have:

  • A good understanding of the principles of stewardship and the measures that are used to achieve high levels of supporter loyalty.
  • An understanding of fundraising project management techniques and their application.
  • Experience in administrative and database processes along with a good attention to detail.
  • Enthusiasm, drive and ambition to build on the Charity’s already busy calendar of events.
