Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic fundraising professional to join our team. This role is essential in helping us achieve our fundraising goals and support our mission. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nonprofit work, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in fundraising.

Key Responsibilities

• Fundraising Campaigns: Plan, organise, and execute fundraising campaigns and events. This includes creating timelines, setting targets, and coordinating logistics.

• Donor Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, ensuring they receive timely updates and acknowledgements. Respond to donor inquiries and provide detailed information
about our programme.

• Grant Writing: Research and identify grant opportunities. Prepare and submit grant proposals, ensuring compliance with guidelines and deadlines.

• Marketing and Communications: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote fundraising efforts. Support the Digital Marketing Assistant in creating compelling content for
social media, newsletters, and other communication channels.

• Data Management: Maintain accurate records of donations, donor contacts, and fundraising activities. Analyse data to assess the effectiveness of fundraising strategies.

• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on fundraising progress, including financial summaries and impact assessments.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Equivalent experience will be considered.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in fundraising, grant writing, or nonprofit management.

Experience with donor relations and event planning is highly desirable.

Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent organisational and project management abilities.

• Proficiency in using fundraising platforms.

• Ability to analyse data and generate reports.

• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions

• Hours: This is a full-time position. Flexibility in scheduling is expected to accommodate events and deadlines.

• Location: The position involves remote work, with occasional in-person meetings and events.

• Compensation: Competitive hourly wage, commensurate with experience.

£30,000-£35,000 dependant on exp.
