A great opportunity to help shape the future legacy marketing for the Soldiers’ Charity. You will be the charity’s lead subject matter expert on Legacy giving marketing and In Memoriam Giving and be the face of both internal and external promotion of these activities.
You will have the chance to define and deliver a communications plan deliverable to all charity staff and volunteers in order that Gifts In Wills becomes a subject that everyone is familiar with, working with colleagues on a pan-charity basis to plan and deliver guest lists for events across the country to ensure appropriate Legacy asks are drawn up.
You will also manage the Legacy Marketing programme via on and offline channels to steward existing and recruit new pledgers and deliver a communications plan to ensure that all staff, volunteers and supporters are aware of In Memoriam Giving and that all In Memoriam donations and supporters are given the most appropriate stewardship.
The starting salary is £42,000 per annum with 30 days annual leave running from April to March. After a probationary period of 6 months the successful candidate will benefit from the Charity’s full range of employment benefits including an income protection scheme and an employer contribution pension. There will also be opportunities to participate in key Charity events and activities with a TOIL scheme in place.
This is a full-time post for 35 hours per week based at the Charity’s National Office in Victoria, London (the Charity currently operates under a Flexible and Hybrid Working Policy).
