Alabaré is looking to recruit to an exciting new post in Wales working initially the north in Colwyn Bay, and around Swansea, Carmarthenshire and the Cardiff regions.
The core aim of this post is to create ‘start up’ social enterprises that can use and enhance the skills of ex-Armed Forces personnel who are living within our supported accommodation, Homes for Veterans. This is a new development for Alabaré and as such requires creativity, innovation and dynamism to ensure success, the work is within the social enterprise team of Alabare. The role involves identifying gaps within the business sector in Wales in the areas of the Homes for Veterans and creating nee social enterprises / businesses’.
We require a person(s) who are enthused by the core aim of Alabaré Homes for Veterans, the person(s) will work as part of a team and be given support as the project develops; ideally they will have experience of the Armed Forces, working with vulnerable individuals and experience of developing business strategies or employment opportunities. This project is funded through the People and Places Grant, Big Lottery. The post holder will be required to travel across Wales and have their own transport.

Mae Alabaré yn awyddus i benodi rhywun i swydd newydd gyffrous yng Nghymru ym Mae Colwyn yn y gogledd i gychwyn, ac yn ardaloedd Abertawe, Sir Gaerfyrddin a Chaerdydd.
Prif nod y swydd hon yw sefydlu mentrau cymdeithasol ‘cychwynnol’ a all ddefnyddio a gwella sgiliau cyn-bersonél y Lluoedd Arfog sy’n byw yn ein llety â chymorth, Cartrefi i Gyn-filwyr. Mae hyn yn ddatblygiad newydd i Alabaré ac oherwydd hynny mae angen sgiliau creadigol, arloesol a dynamig er mwyn sicrhau llwyddiant. Caiff y gwaith ei gyflawni gan dîm mentrau cymdeithasol Alabaré. Mae’r rôl yn cynnwys nodi bylchau yn y sector busnes yng Nghymru yn ardaloedd y Cartrefi i Gyn-filwyr a chreu mentrau / busnesau cymdeithasol newydd.
Bydd angen i’r unigolyn neu’r unigolion fod yn frwdfrydig dros brif nod Cartrefi i Gyn-filwyr Alabaré a bydd yr unigolyn neu’r unigolion yn gweithio fel rhan o dîm ac yn derbyn cymorth wrth i’r prosiect ddatblygu; yn ddelfrydol bydd ganddo brofiad o’r Lluoedd Arfog, o weithio gydag unigolion sy’n agored i niwed a phrofiad o ddatblygu strategaethau busnes neu gyfleoedd cyflogaeth. Caiff y prosiect ei ariannu drwy Gronfa Pawb a’i Le, y Loteri Fawr. Bydd gofyn i ddeiliad y swydd deithio ledled Cymru a bod â’i gerbyd ei hun.
