Army Families Federation – Communications and Marketing Director

The Army Families Federation has a vacancy for a Communications and Marketing Director, based at their Central Office in Andover.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Communications and Marketing Director is AFF’s communications lead, managing the comms function via direct management of the creative team and delivering effective and timely internal and external communications.

The post holder will sit on the AFF Executive Management Board (AFF’s senior management team), supporting the Chief Executive in the development and delivery of organisational aims and objectives, and works closely with all AFF branches in the delivery of key communication goals.

This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

What we’re looking for

A dynamic and experienced team leader, with strong organisation skills. You should be confident in presenting and public speaking, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience of working with the media. A clear understanding of the issues affecting Army families would be beneficial.

Much of your work will be cross-organisation, requiring effective teamwork skills and the ability to work on a number of projects at any one time.
