ASDIC – Regional Manager

***THIS JOB VACANCY HAS NOW CLOSED***

Position: Regional Manager

Salary: £40,000

Location: Remote working with travel across the UK and occasional visits to ASDIC HQ.

Hours: Full-Time (35 hours per week)

To support ASDIC’s ongoing growth and development, we are now recruiting a Regional Manager to join our small and energetic team. This new role will be pivotal in supporting and developing our members across the UK. We are looking for a capable individual who is comfortable working across a wide range of activities and tasks with a flexible approach. In addition to supporting our members on the ground, you will develop productive relationships with other networks, local authorities, and statutory services, creating opportunities for learning, development, and closer collaboration. Supported by the Membership Engagement Officer, this is a full-time role working remotely and travelling extensively across assigned regions of the UK.

The Association of Service Drop-In Centres (ASDIC) supports the rapidly growing network of small organisations supporting the well-being of veterans and their families in the community across the UK. These organisations come in all shapes and sizes. From the highly evolved, able to provide clinical support to the activity-based organisations ideally suited as a social prescribing solution. As well as the small Drop-Ins and Breakfast Clubs providing brew and banter and a gateway to support. ASDIC brings cohesion to this network giving guidance, support, and establishment of best practice. We also deliver the ground-breaking ‘VetCheck’ service in partnership with Veterans UK (MOD), enabling ASDIC to verify service for our members within 48 hours. In addition, we provide the membership with representation at the highest level, with strong links to the Office of Veterans Affairs (Cabinet Office), MOD, and the NHS, providing a single voice for the small organisations that otherwise might be unheard when developing policy.

The role is varied and will require strong communication skills, time management, and the ability to work independently. If you believe you have the experience and the proactive approach we are looking for, we’d like to hear from you.

Send your CV and supporting statement outlining your suitability for the role to recruitment@asdic.org.uk  by 14 July. Initial interviews will be online with shortlisted candidates invited for a face-to-face interview at our HQ in Aylesford, Kent.

Further information about the organisation is available by visiting the ASDIC website. www.asdic.org.uk
