BFBS TV is an unrivalled mix of current UK entertainment and top-flight sport specially compiled for British Forces communities posted overseas. We work with major broadcasters, platform operators and rights owners at national and global level to deliver a unique service across multiple platforms on land and at sea.
Reporting to the Head of Content Operations, we’re looking for a TV Content Delivery Manager to lead and manage a newly combined team covering presentation and promotions, playout scheduling and VOD planning. Your experience of these skills, along with building and nurturing high performing teams, will maintain both our current business as usual expectations, as well as evolve them to best suit the expectations of audiences and content providers, in parallel with capabilities of available and emerging products and workflows. Your proven expertise in platform navigation, signposting, merchandising and editorial curation, plus your expansive knowledge of trending and top rating content, means you’re the ideal person to combine data, process and creativity in developing our services and inspiring our colleagues.
We’re also a small, multifunctional team, so you’ll be comfortable, organised and flexible in managing and supporting your team with their deadlines, as well as devising and implementing new processes and initiatives (+ associated training). You’ll feedback and advise the TV and Cinema Management team as well as have a close, collaborative relationship with other business leads such as Digital Content Manager and Head of Product/Product Manager. Therefore, the role is based at our Buckinghamshire HQ with a business requirement to be in the office 2-3 times a week, as part of our approach to hybrid working.
