This challenging, enjoyable and rewarding role involves planning, developing and coordinating accessible, enjoyable, stimulating activities and opportunities for people with vision impairment, their carers or partners at our Brighton centre.
We’re looking for a highly organised, positive and flexible individual who’ll provide encouragement, inspiration, ideas and enthusiasm, partnered with a passion for working creatively. You’ll also have great MS Office, time management and problem solving skills.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a collaborative and dynamic approach, with the ability to motivate our Members, colleagues and volunteers to go beyond what they thought was possible.
You’ll facilitate and design our in house activities, trips and events, including themed day events and our varied social activity programme. You’ll support and coordinate our volunteers and actively promote our activities programme, matching services to our individual members’ requests and requirements.
Experience of working with elderly people, those with sight loss or other disabilities would be an advantage, however full training will be provided.
