Founded in 1915, by Sir Arthur Pearson, to help the many veterans losing their sight after the First World War, we have supported those blinded in subsequent wars and military engagements, including the Second World War, and more recently, the conflicts in the Faulklands, Iraq and Afghanistan.

We are currently seeking a Bookings & Administration Co-ordinator to join our Llandudno team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

As the Bookings & Administration Co-ordinator, you will ensure a high-quality booking experience for our members and customers.

Reporting to the Hospitality Lead, you will line manage our Hospitality Team and oversee the safe and efficient running of the customer facing operation within our Llandudno centre to ensure the best service is delivered in all areas.

You will manage accommodation reservations at the centre, ensuring all details are entered into the accommodation management system and overseeing room allocation for members and other beneficiaries.

Additionally, you will:

– Provide reception cover
– Co-ordinate the administration of the petty cash system and processing of finances
– Develop, monitor and manage a members’ feedback model

About You

To be considered as our Bookings & Administration Co-ordinator, you will need:

– Experience leading a team in a busy customer service environment
– Bookkeeping experience
– Great customer care skills
– At a minimum, GCSEs or equivalent at level 4 / Grade C or above in Maths and English

This role will involve working a rolling rota, which may include the need to work evenings, weekends and nights to cover shifts. There may also be an occasional requirement to work away from home.
