Blind Veterans UK is the national charity helping blind ex-service men and women lead independent and fulfilling lives. We offer blind veterans access to the highest quality of services to help them discover life beyond sight loss.
We have a fantastic opportunity for an innovative and enthusiastic Individual to initiate, build and sustain effective sponsorship with businesses and enhance the charity’s brand. This is an exciting time to join the charity as we embark on a new strategy to expand our services to vision-impaired ex-Service men and women.
The Ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the importance of corporate fundraising within the wider fundraising/charity context. Have a successful track record of achieving targets and be able to demonstrate experience of developing new income streams, client management and retention.
The post holder will:
- Plan to retain and develop fundraising partnerships with companies, maximising their value in line with the philanthropy and partnerships strategy
- Achieve/surpass fundraising and marketing targets.
- Support the Senior Manager in planning, implementing and developing a comprehensive fundraising, communication and volunteering plan for each partnership ensuring buy in from all colleagues involved in delivery
- Work closely with new business manager to create and implement a seamless supporter journey for corporate partners, in order to increase retention and maximise two-way value
- Work with partners and the senior manager to establish and agree partnership objectives that are realistic and deliverable, ensure that Blind Veterans UK delivers against all agreed partnership objectives identifying and addressing issues which affect the plan and partnership performance
