Founded in 1915, by Sir Arthur Pearson, to help the many veterans losing their sight after the First World War, we have over a century of experience providing the best care to our veterans.
Since then, we’ve provided support to tens of thousands of vision-impaired veterans, helping them to regain their independence. By providing our members with the tools and skills they need to lead a fulfilling and active life, we ensure they remain valued members of society.
We are currently seeking a Database Executive to join our Data Management team on a permanent, full-time basis, working 35 hours per week. This is a home-based role.

This is a great opportunity for a proactive and outcome-focused Database Executive to manage the import and export of supporter and financial data to our Raiser’s Edge database.
You will play a pivotal role in the lifelong support we provide veterans to regain their independence and live fulfilling lives after sight loss.

The Role
As a Database Executive, you will be responsible for importing and updating data, ensuring the data quality. You will have an eye for detail and accuracy and have good communication skills with technical and non–technical colleagues.
The successful candidate will have an excellent knowledge of relational databases (preferably Raiser’s Edge) and will be experienced in importing, selecting, analysing and validating large and complex data sets. You will also ideally be experienced in developing business processes to support fundraising.
About You
To be considered as a Database Executive, you will need:
– Experience of using large databases for income generation
– Excellent knowledge of fundraising database
– Strong level of computer literacy
