Blind Veterans UK – Fundraising Events Executive (London)

£33,166 per annum
35 hours per week
Marylebone, London

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Fundraising Events Executive to join the charity as we embark on a new strategy to expand our services to vision-impaired ex-Service men and women.

The number of veterans we help is increasing rapidly as we implement our overall strategy to embed a national footprint and take our exceptional services to the beneficiary. To make this possible we are looking for an innovative and resourceful individual to join our events team to play an important role in developing a new national events fundraising strategy to meet the need of the organisation.

Reporting to the Fundraising Events Manager, your role will be to project manage new and existing third party and charity owned fundraising events. This spans across challenge, running and special events.  You will play a vital role in recruiting, managing and maintaining the enthusiasm of our supporters and will contribute to the development of the national event fundraising plan.

You will need to have proven event management and event marketing experience, the ability to work well with a range of audiences and sound project management skills. We need you to be a skilled communicator who is able to engage others in a friendly and confident manner and who has the ability to successfully manage supporters of mixed capabilities and experience.

In return, we offer the opportunity to be part of a team that transforms lives.  We also offer a wide range of benefits and career development opportunities for the right candidate.

For more information on about the role and how to apply, please visit our website at

To apply, please send your up to date CV and Supporting Statement of not more than 500 words to outlining how your knowledge, skills and experience meet the person specification.

Please note only applicants who submit a CV with a Supporting Statement will be considered.
