Blind Veterans UK – Research Assistant (Social and Welfare – fixed term contract for 6 months)

£30,000 per annum (full time), £18,000 per annum (pro rata – 21 hours)

We are currently looking for an experienced Research Assistant to support the Senior Research Associate in carrying out primary and secondary research, and collating and managing data sets.

The Research Assistant will have excellent organisational and communication skills, with experience of qualitative and quantitative data collection and management.  You will need a degree and masters, in Social Sciences or allied sciences relevant to work within Social and Welfare Research, with previous experience in a research role or within an academic environment.  With highly developed data analysis and scientific writing skills, you must also be able to liaise with key stakeholders, building strong professional relationships for the charity.
