The Engagement Department at Blind Veterans UK is looking for a collaborative and committed candidate with excellent marketing skills who is able to lead a team to achieve or surpass our marketing targets.
Working as a key member of the Engagement Department, the role will require you to:
- Lead and manage a community marketing team to achieve marketing and communication targets in communities across the country
- Alongside our brand and marketing team, increase awareness, understanding and consideration among target audiences
- Work with operational and marketing colleagues to develop and implement integrated marketing and communication plans that engage members, volunteers and supporters at a local level.
- Work with senior managers in the community and event fundraising team (and other fundraising teams) to heighten awareness of the organisations need for financial support
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track record of leading and managing marketing and communications teams, be a problem solver and will have experience of building effective relationships internally and externally.
