Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 16:30, hybrid, 2 days in office, 3 days at home.

Combat Stress is the UK’s leading mental health charity for veterans. For over a century, we’ve been helping former service personnel deal with issues like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) resulting from military service. We have teams across the UK providing online and in-person treatment and support, depending on the individual’s needs and circumstances of those who need us.
About the role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our successful fundraising team. You will contribute to the Team’s ambitious goals and ultimately help the charity to deliver their vital mental health services. As Philanthropy Fundraising Officer, you will support the growth of both our Trusts & Foundations income and our Major Donor programme. You will research, prepare and manage high-quality applications for charitable Trusts, while also providing excellent administrative and stewardship support for major donors, ensuring they receive timely, engaging and personalised updates on the difference their support makes.
You must be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, have a strong eye for detail, and be confident managing multiple deadlines. Experience in Trusts and Foundations or major donor fundraising is key, and this role would suit an ambitious fundraiser looking to develop in high-value fundraising.
An affinity with the work of Combat Stress would be helpful in securing this role.
This role is subject to a DBS check.
