Full time, permanent, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9 am to 4:30 pm)
Band 8a, in the region of £44,000 per annum (dependant on experience)
Working from our Head Office in Leatherhead, Surrey. KT22 0BX

Combat Stress is the UK’s leading mental health charity for veterans, providing free specialist clinical treatment and welfare support to ex-servicemen and women across the UK with mental health conditions.

We treat conditions including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression and anxiety. We provide a range of free services including short-stay clinical treatment, a specialist PTSD Intensive Treatment Programme, Occupational Therapy, Community support and a free 24-hour Helpline.

Because demand for these services is increasing we are currently investing and expanding our Fundraising activities and are currently recruiting for a Volunteer, Community and Regional Fundraising Manager.

This is an amazing opportunity to take this income stream to a new level – lots of groups want to support Combat Stress and we need a passionate and driven leader to unlock some of this potential.  The role supports volunteer and community group fundraisers in their fundraising and awareness-building activities on behalf of the Charity. You will liaise with volunteers nationwide to discuss plans for their events and offer support and guidance as required.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience working in a charity and experience of working with a wide number of contacts. They will also have extensive management experience as this role line manages six fantastic members of the Fundraising team.

Combat Stress operate a salary scale which works similarly to the NHS Agenda for Change system.  We enhance the scale by 1.5% and an annual appraisal system to support training and development opportunities.
