Contact is twelve charities, statutory agencies and support organisations working together to pool our knowledge & expertise. they each have a good and deepening understanding of military mental health and want to share our insights & expertise to improve both the quality and accessibility of services for the Veteran Community.

They are now looking for a dynamic new chair to help us to work better together to enable us to create more accessible & seamless pathways to support for veterans and family members and to reduce the stigma of seeking help.

They are looking for an individual who is an adept,  agile and experienced multi-stakeholder chair, with a high level of empathy for military mental health. They are looking for someone with an open flexible and collaborative approach, coupled with a strong commitment to improving service provision for this community. They are a passionate group,  determined to combine and focus our efforts in order to convert the rising demand for information from veterans and their families into active engagement in services available. As our new independent chair you will play a vital role in enabling our group to realise and drive forward tangible improvements and developments to ensure we continue to meet the mental health needs of the Veteran Community.

As chair you will also play a key part in helping raise the profile of Contact’s work, acting as a credible ambassador and spokesperson to increase awareness of military mental health.
