Deptherapy on-line mental health self help programmes

Deptherapy has produced a number of online, voiced over, Mental Health, self-help programmes, as part of their Afghan Project which is funded by a grant from the Armed Forces’ Covenant Fund Trust

The programmes are not limited to Afghan veterans. They are designed to be beneficial to the whole Armed Forces’ community, serving, veterans and families. The programmes are:

  1. a)         Psychological First Aid
  2. b)         Impact of Trauma
  3. c)         Effective Listening
  4. d)         Coping mechanisms.

They have just added their Peer Buddy Support Scheme to their programmes, which is available to the same community.

Although in places it relates specifically to scuba diving the Scheme could be adapted for many activities/charities  All our Senior Buddies have attended at least one 2 day Mental Health First Aid course and have undergone additional learning to take on what is a challenging role.

Access to the packages is available to all, via Deptherapy’s website www.deptherapy.co.uk

Over the next couple of months Deptherapy will be adding to the available programmes, a comprehensive Deptherapy Mental Health Awareness  programme.
