Contract: Permanent 37.5 hours per week
Salary: Circa £28,000 (MH Nursing Assistant Band 4-5)

This is an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Nursing Assistant looking for a new role. If you are confident self-starter with the ability to work as part of a team, then join us at DMWS. We are looking for a Wellbeing Resource Assistant to join the team at RAF Waddington.
The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, who is compassionate and passionate about supporting the Armed Forces Community. Working as part of a team, you will be supporting service personnel and their families. You should be willing to work flexibly to meet job demands and this may involve working out of office hours. In return, you will be working within a dynamic organisation who has provided medical welfare for 80 years, making a real difference and receiving great benefits opportunities.
The post holder will have knowledge of a Military environment and culture, Risk Assessment and Risk Management. You should have experience of working with people with mental health needs and knowledge of statutory requirements and legislation i.e. Mental Health Act and Safeguarding.
You will be a confidential, impartial resource working as part of the Squadron to enhance squadron members’ Wellbeing. Formal therapy will not be part of the programme; however, the skill to interact daily and asses the holistic wellbeing of squadron members is vital.
