DMWS – Welfare Officer (Dorset)

Location: Weymouth and the wider Dorset community
Contract: 1 Year Fixed Term (with possibility of extension), 35 hours per week
Salary: £24,573.00

DMWS is an international charity that has been providing welfare support to the Armed Forces Community for over 75 years. We are now recruiting a full time Welfare Officer to work with and support carers within the armed forces community in Weymouth and the wider Dorset area.

You will be focused on supporting carers within the veterans and armed forces community and you will be supporting the military community when they are in hospital (inpatient and outpatient), or receiving treatment in community based health facilities. All DMWS Welfare Officers need to be prepared to be mobile and deployable.
