Fighting With Pride: Remembrance Parade 2025 – Sunday 9 November

Remembrance Weekend 2025 will be even more relevant than usual, being the Remembrance Weekend in the 25th anniversary year of the lifting of ‘The Gay Ban’.

For the first time, all four of the applicants to the first ECHR ruling that ultimately lifted the Ban; Jeanette Russell (Smith), John Beckett, Graham Grady, Duncan Lustig-Prean will be taking part and leading our parade, which will be a truly historic moment.

For our Remembrance Parade party this year we have been allocated 100 places, our largest cohort ever for this event and we really want to do FWP proud and turn out in big numbers.

We currently still have around 40 places available for the parade itself and would like to ask those who have not yet submitted a request to attend if they would like to join us.

To ensure we can have sufficient time to complete registrations we need to close the list for the ballot on Friday 29 August.
