The Army Central Fund (ACF) awards grants to projects and activities run by UK registered charities which contribute to the wellbeing of serving soldiers and their immediate families.
Applications are now being invited for submission by Monday 30 September 2024. These will be considered by the Trustees at their next meeting in November. Successful grants will be paid between 1 December 2024 and 30 June 2025.
Each application will be considered on its merits. When making their decisions Trustees focus on the need identified and the benefits the proposed project will bring to the serving Army and their families. Trustees also consider whether the proposal is the most effective way to achieve the stated aim, and if the applicant is best placed to deliver it.

Please note the Army Central Fund is unable to support activities focused on veterans or cadets, nor can it accept applications from individuals. Army units and Army Sports Associations/Unions should not apply direct to the Army Central Fund but should follow the instructions and guidance detailed in Army Command Standing Order 3206 (Army Welfare Funds) issued May 2024.
