Haig Housing – Horticultural Team Leader

Haig Housing is a charitable housing association with some 1500 properties in small estates all over the UK that it lets to ex-Service families. The successful candidate will be based in Morden, Surrey, on the site of our largest estate, where we are seeking an experienced Team Leader for our Grounds Maintenance team.

The successful candidate will have had previous experience in a similar role, and possess sound horticultural knowledge. You will assist the Horticultural Services Manager with the management and development of the Grounds Maintenance Team and ensure that the services delivered by the Team are Health and Safety compliant, of high quality, customer focussed and provided within the resources available. You will need a full driving licence, and experience in office IT systems including Word and Excel. You will have excellent client service skills and the ability to communicate with colleagues, contractors and tenants.
