Haig Housing is a long-established charity based in Morden, South West London with a presence across the UK. We are the largest veterans housing charity, providing houses for over 1500 veterans and their families. We put people at the centre of everything we do – our beneficiaries and staff. We develop our team to be knowledgeable, self-regulating and highly skilled and reward the value they bring to the business We are looking for an ambitious, green agenda driven manager to lead the organisation’s approach to decarbonisation of our homes, and reduce the carbon footprint of our business. In this new, key role for the Trust, you will establish and undertake the leadership of our sustainability function, setting the strategy and driving all outcomes. You will bring best practice to Haig and we will need you to demonstrate your previous experience as well as your thorough knowledge of current and emerging sustainability issues and trends. You will be responsible for the management of relevant budget and work with teams throughout the whole organisation to ensure Haig sustainability standards and commitments are met.
