Housing Options Officer

PURPOSE OF JOB
To provide efficient and effective assistance to the Housing Options Manager.
To give high quality and accurate advice on potential housing options and solutions to applicants from the ex-Service community.
To ensure that applications for housing assistance from the Trust and transfers from existing tenants are accurately and speedily processed and assessed in accordance with Trust
policies and procedures.
To carry out efficient and timely administrative processes in accordance with Trust policies and procedures so that vacant properties are allocated and let to meet the Trust’s
targets and charitable objectives.
To liaise with Housing and Property Services teams in relation to the re-letting of void properties.
To liaise with other housing providers in relation to applicants and tenants seeking transfers.
