We have an incredible opportunity for a Grants Manager to join our Team on a Fixed Term basis until December 2020.

About you:
Are you a motivated, results driven individual, capable of working independently as well as in close partnership with the Head of Grants who would be comfortable managing your own and the team’s workload and willing to take on jobs that are above and beyond your day to day tasks depending on the demands that fall to the team? Do you have an eye for detail and the patience to work through problems from various angles to find solutions? The role requires you to be skilled in reading financial accounts, competent with excel and have strong interpersonal skills allowing you to build relationships within the organisation and with our key partners.
About the Team:
The Grants team are a national recovery team based at Tedworth House in Wiltshire, working to deliver effective, timely and impactful financial support to individuals who are living with ongoing injuries or illness from their time in, or as a result of service. As well as providing direct support to individuals, support is offered to charity partners who deliver programmes that support our Wounded, Injured and Sick beneficiaries. We work closely with other Help for Heroes Recovery teams to ensure that our responses are always in line with the Charity’s mission and the wider Recovery Delivery policies.
About the role:
The Grants Manager is responsible for the monitoring of business as usual with key charity partners, allowing the Head of Grants to be free to manage strategic and business planning requirements. This includes managing applications, regular reporting requirements, and monthly financial monitoring. The Grants Manager is additionally responsible for preparing papers to keep the Senior Management Team abreast of progress against targets. You will be expected to offer advice and support to the Individual Grants Officers as they manage their day to day business, take responsibility for complex or challenging cases and provide proactive support to the Head of Grants with additional tasks as and when they are required.
