Help for Heroes, leading Charity for the Armed Forces Community, is seeking to appoint a Head of Psychological Wellbeing to lead the service. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated Psychologist to make a real impact through a specialist service.

 

We believe that those who put their lives on the line for us, deserve a second chance at life. We provide recovery focused support for the Armed Forces Community and their families through our Recovery Centres and community delivery.

 

This is a permanent role and offers a real opportunity for the right candidate to develop, inspire and lead geographically dispersed teams to deliver first class Psychological Wellbeing services.
We are looking for an experienced clinician with excellent leadership qualities, capable of ensuring a high quality, evidence based, cohesive, responsive and innovative service in the most efficient and sustainable way.

 

The role reports through to the Services Director and is responsible for the design, clinical governance and quality assurance of the Psychological Wellbeing Service to deliver an outstanding, positively impactful experience to move beneficiaries forward in their recovery. The role will work collaboratively with colleagues across the charity to help inform and deliver the charity’s strategy within their area.

 

We would expect the successful individual to demonstrate high levels of integrity and outstanding interpersonal skills, with the capacity for breadth and agility in a multi-faceted role

Salary – Circa £62,300 + competitive benefits
