Are you a self-motivated individual with strong lead generation and new business development experience that can help us raise more vital funds to support veterans and their families? If so, read on as we have a new and exciting opportunity to join our passionate and forward-thinking Community Fundraising Team.

About the Role

We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for someone who is an ambitious and self-motivated individual, with strong and proven lead generation experience, to join us in an exciting phase for the Community Fundraising Team; so, we can continue to support everyone in the Armed Forces Community enabling them to live well after service.

You will be working alongside a New Business Development Manager and responsible for lead generation to support new business opportunities in the Community Fundraising space, this could be an SME or Community Organisation.

We need you to build and manage a robust pipeline of new business opportunities that could deliver £10-25K per supporter by growing networks to develop and cultivate prospects that can deliver year on year.

You will need to be a skilled communicator both written and verbally to support the development of bespoke compelling engagement plans for prospects in an impactful way, and expertly build new Charity relationships

You will be personable team player, a strategic thinker and have a track record of securing strong leads in the new business space and achievement of KPI’s

Have proven ability to generate new ideas, adapt style and approach to meet the needs of different supporters or customers

You will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to effectively manage and prioritise your time

About the Team

You will be part of the Help for Heroes Community and Events Team, who work together to build support in the community to secure donations and build long time partnerships with community organisations / supporters and volunteers to deliver the annual Community Fundraising budget year on year. You will report to the National Senior Fundraising Manager and work collaboratively across the charity to drive income to support our veterans and their families.
