Heropreneurs – Marketing and Events Manager

Home Based, 20 Hours per Week (some travel required)

£30,000 Pro Rata Salary 

This is a hands-on role, reporting to the CEO and responsible for the oversight, development and delivery of all Heropreneurs marketing and events. As part of a small and dynamic team, you will be involved in all aspects of our delivery, managing relationships with key partners and identifying opportunities to increase productivity and grow appropriately as a charity. 

Celebrating 12 years of delivery in 2021, Heropreneurs are the only UK military charity delivering philanthropic support through mentoring to entrepreneurs in the UK Armed Forces family. This year is one of growth for our charity as we seek to build our community and sustain our delivery in the long term. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Line management of part time Marketing and Events Coordinator.

  • Creation and delivery of overall marketing strategy.

  • Delivery of key marketing materials.

  • Management of small marketing budget.

  • Management of 2021 virtual Heropreneurs Awards.

  • Work closely and manage relationships with key charity and commercial partners to identify opportunities for collaboration and profile growth.

  • Oversight and management of events calendar.

  • Host/chair virtual and physical events.

  • Manage and identify opportunities to raise funds.

  • Development and management of brand guidelines.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience in a Marketing Management position is essential.

  • CIM qualification or equivalent (desirable).

  • Virtual and physical event delivery experience.

  • Excellent written communicator.

  • Experience of managing relationships with senior-level key stakeholders.

  • Charity sector experience (desirable).

  • UK Armed Forces knowledge (desirable).
