Launchpad – Assistant Manager (Administration & Budget) and Independent Living Coordinator


Launchpad provides self-contained accommodation and other support for veterans in Newcastle Upon Tyne and Speke in Liverpool, to help them with transition from the Forces to civilian life.  There are two staff vacancies in Avondale House in Newcastle.

The charity requires an Assistant Manager (Administration & Budget) to manage house finances and administration.  This includes advising residents on benefits, rent and arrears, as well as liaising with the Charity Secretary, the local benefits’ authorities and Launchpad fundraisers. Launchpad also wants to fill a new post, that of Independent Living Co-ordinator, whose role is to support remotely or face-to-face through third parties if possible, those veterans who have left Launchpad and reside in different communities across UK.

Both posts are to be based in Newcastle.  Applicants must be experienced with people living with complex issues, exhibit initiative and be good members of the team.
