Lord Kitchener Memorial Holiday Centre – Manager (Lowestoft)

Manager required for Holiday Centre with ten en-suite rooms on the Sea Front at Lowestoft. The Centre is open to Ex-Service and Ex-Emergency Service personnel including wives and widows for 7 months a year. Backed by a team of Housekeeper, Cooks, Cleaners and Waiting staff, responsibility would be for the smooth running of the Centre. Currently the Centre is open from April to October only. Expected duties from November to March would include routine maintenance of the decorative fabric of the interior of the building.

We would expect the Manager to be familiar with the terms of GDPR and be computer literate with knowledge of Windows 10 and MS Office. The ability to operate the HMRC PAYE scheme and Govt. Backed Pensions scheme would be an advantage.

Also required is a Housekeeper/Cook for full time employment during the Summer Months. The Manager and Housekeeper positions would suit a couple.

Ideally the applicant would have some experience in the Hotel trade. hold a valid driving licence and own reliable transport.

A salary of £15k per annum is available with a rent free 3 bedroomed flat, meals covered whilst on duty when guests are also being catered for, all utility bills paid including Council Tax and a television licence and an annual allowance for own transport. Three weeks holiday plus days in lieu of statutory holidays per annum, all to be taken out of Season.
