The Role
The role of the Armed Forces Marketing team is to raise awareness of The Royal British Legion and its services, by engaging and inspiring soldiers, sailors, airmen and their families, so that they know we are here for them today and long after service.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing – Armed Forces, the Marketing Manager will implement and deliver a plan to increase understanding of The Legion amongst the 450,000-strong serving community and build the Legion’s relevance and reputation. You will need to craft bold, brave and well targeted communications for a truly unique audience, employing a deep knowledge of the audience and the online and offline marketing techniques to reach them.
The role is primarily office based in Borough High Street, SE1 1AA, however due to COVID 19 the team are currently working from home. This role would begin remotely and then follow government and organisational guidelines on returning to the office and travelling around the UK.
