The Forces Pension Society was formed in 1946 in the aftermath of the Second World War to campaign for better pension provision for Armed Forces veterans and their families.
It is an independent, not-for-profit membership funded organisation that acts as a pension watchdog for the whole military community.
We exist to guide members on the technical aspects of their Armed Forces Pension; campaign against any injustices in the policy provision or mal-administration of Armed Forces Pensions; and educate the Armed Forces community on Armed Forces Pension matters.
Our vision is to ‘Enhance Armed Forces Pension Clarity and Influence Policy for Future Generations’.
We are committed to supporting our members and the wider Armed Forces community by helping them understand the benefits and complexities of Armed Forces pensions.
We offer clear, accessible guidance to serving personnel, veterans, and families, providing personalised support to help them interpret scheme rules and make informed decisions. Through our roadshows and educational sessions, we raise awareness and build confidence across the community.
Working alongside military charities and specialist organisations, we ensure people can access the right help when they need it. Our mission is to give our members and the military community the clarity, respect, and support they deserve throughout their pension journey.
