The RAF Association has a clear objective: to help sustain a resilient and empowered RAF community, including serving personnel, RAF veterans and their families. Through our sector leading services, we offer friendship to the isolated and lonely, sheltered housing for those who want to remain proudly independent and childcare to serving personnel on RAF stations.  We work closely with partner organisations, including other military charities, and have a strong bond with our donors and supporters, giving us the confidence to deliver for our beneficiaries when they need us.

What to expect from the role

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for driving rich digital user experiences, engagement and interactions, by leading the development and implementation of an organisational wide digital marketing strategy that stimulates growth in membership, volunteering, welfare and wellbeing services and income generation. The role will lead the Digital Marketing team in translating strategy into delivery.   In addition, the role facilitates digital innovation and supports data quality and integrity projects.

How you can make a difference

As an experienced Digital Marketing Manager, you will lead the Digital Marketing Team, providing expert advice and leadership to achieve optimum results. Your skills in designing and implementing digital marketing strategies will ensure a results orientated approach where decisions are based on quality data and insight. You will use your knowledge to develop and deliver activity in line with the project and activity commissioning processes. As a key member of the management team, you will collaborate closely with senior managers to understand key business challenges and design digital projects that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimisation opportunities. Along with overseeing the development of the Group digital infrastructure, you will be fully involved in supporting colleagues to develop a fuller understanding of digital audiences in order to engage with them in ways that are relevant, inspiring and targeted to meet their needs.

About you

We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager with a passion for designing and delivering the highest quality user experiences as well as facilitating digital innovation. Educated to degree level, or with equivalent specialist experience, you will be able to bring significant experience of developing and managing successful B2C digital strategies and campaigns across multiple organisational strands and objectives. You will have a robust knowledge and experience of digital marketing technology along with a thorough understanding of applicable legislation and ethical codes of practice. Extensive relationship management skills are integral to the role with the ability to facilitate and influence stakeholders.
