This is a new professional position for someone with a strong background in Salesforce development to be responsible for design recommendations, configuration, development and testing of Salesforce.com solutions as well as leading the in-house Salesforce Development team to deliver digital transformation projects
About the team
The IT project management office is a small team of passionate, solution focused individuals. Reporting to the Head of CRM and alongside the CRM Business Analyst, the post holder will be required to design appropriate solutions for new projects as they arise and work alongside third parties as appropriate to deliver successful implementations. The Senior Salesforce Developer will leading a small yet dynamic team in the full lifecycle of projects from building business cases to support the justification of IT transformation and projects to support the Associations objectives and goals. You will be part of a fantastic, committed team and achieve the real satisfaction of being a significant part of taking new services from concept to life and seeing the difference these programmes make to the RAF community we support
About you
Previous Salesforce.com consultancy experience would be desirable, although not essential. The role requires you to be Salesforce.com ADM 201 certified with the Dev 401 or Platform Developer 1 and 2 equivalent qualifications as a minimum along with 3 years + Salesforce.com system design, administration and configuration experience. You will have the ability to proactively identify areas for Salesforce system improvement and make it happen! The role requires you have many of the skills and responsibilities as would be expected in a Senior Developer role so if you have hands on experience in Visualforce, Triggers and Apex by creating/using the Classes, Standard Controllers, Custom Controllers, Controller Extensions, and Web Services API etc then this role could be the perfect fit!
