The RAF Association is one of the leading providers of welfare assistance to the RAF community.  We do this by developing and offering a range of welfare and wellbeing services that aim to provide amazing support to those who most need it. Our services are delivered by our team of fantastic employees, together with a large network of volunteers. Last year, we supported over 85,500 members of the RAF community who required practical, emotional or financial assistance. For the sake of everyone who needs our help, we continue to evolve and innovate to meet new challenges and remain at the leading edge of service provision. We champion the best interests of the RAF community and work together to make sure no one is ever left behind.

About the role

Our Services Marketing Officer role is part of the Supporter and Services Marketing team.  This team and indeed this role, is key to raising the profile of, and promoting our new and existing service products.  You will be integral in ensuring that marketing campaigns actively promote our offering and ensure our positive message, reaches out to those who will benefit.  Additionally, you will play a role in attracting and engaging our amazing volunteer team to enable us to continue our great work.

This is an extremely varied and rewarding role. Your marketing exposure will cover many elements from coordinating marketing campaigns and allow you the creative space to truly develop engaging messages that tell our story. You’ll work closely with colleagues and managers from our departments and act as the main point of contact for our suppliers and agencies

About you

We are looking for a competent marketing professional who is a self-starter, is eager and confident to work independently and can demonstrate initiative and accountability to passionately deliver our marketing campaigns in a responsive way.  Whilst knowledge of the Charity sector is an advantage, it is not a pre-requisite.  Our key goal is to see you succeed in this role and to do this, you will need to be able to apply your marketing knowledge to tell our story and ultimately keep the wheels on the track when it comes to co-ordinating all campaign activity.
