For over 90 years, the RAF Association have championed a simple belief – that no member of the RAF community should ever be left without the help that they need. The RAF Association is one of the leading providers of welfare assistance to the RAF community and we exist to ensure that their sacrifice does not result in suffering, poverty, loneliness or isolation. Last year, we supported over 85,500 members of the RAF community who required practical, emotional or financial assistance. For the sake of everyone who needs our help, we continue to evolve and innovate to meet new challenges and remain at the leading edge of service provision. We champion the best interests of the RAF community and work together to make sure no one is ever left behind.
About the job
The Supporter Insight Manager (SIM), is responsible for leading the design, production and communication of strategic and operational insights and recommendations to maximise the potential of the Association’s supporter database leading to improved supporter engagement i.e. membership, volunteering, uptake of welfare services and income generation. Ideally you will have a degree and/or significant relevant experience within a data driven business and marketing sector with up to date knowledge of designing, planning and deriving actionable insights to optimise supporter journeys and drive engagement strategies. You will need to have experience of SQL or similar tools and building and delivering Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using BI technology, particularly Power BI to optimise supporter journeys, improve targeting, drive engagement strategies and lifetime value modelling.
If you enjoy the responsibility of planning and executing a range of projects in parallel using your judgement and experience to manage resource, timescales and budgets, then this role could be 100% for you!
It is highly recommended that you read the supporting role profile and person specification prior to applying for the role. This is available to download on our website www.rafa.org.uk
