Maternity Cover Contract

Circa £30,000 per annum and benefits

The Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund is the RAF’s leading welfare charity. The Welfare Directorate is responsible for understanding and meeting the social welfare needs of those in the RAF Family, from those currently serving in the RAF and their families through to veterans of all ages.

The Wellbeing Team facilitates the provision of wellbeing support for serving and veteran RAF personnel and their eligible dependants who are in need of assistance as a result of issues such as financial hardship, disability or ill-health.

We are seeking an individual to provide coordination across a range of projects and initiatives within the Community Welfare Programmes Department, with a particular focus on our support for emotional wellbeing and social isolation.

They will be empathetic and have a flexible approach to wellbeing delivery, be strong at planning and organising, as well as an articulate communicator.

The successful candidate will need to have experience of administration with high attention to detail, as well as experience of working within a case management system. They will have experience of supporting individuals over the phone and/or face-to-face, supporting project work and excellent IT knowledge.
