The role of the RAF Families Federation (RAFFF) is to provide an independent voice for serving RAF personnel and their families, to capture evidence of their views and to advocate on their behalf to senior RAF, MOD staffs and government ministers. It is a confidential service that relies upon the integrity and professionalism of its staff to deliver a Federation that is both credible and respected by all parties.
The RAFFF Policy Adviser is responsible to the RAFFF Operations and Policy Manager for liaising with Government Departments, regional authorities, RAF units, personnel and families on their policy areas and the wider work of the Federation, identifying and sharing best practice and reporting issues and concerns. This is a role where issues you raise may be important in shaping government policy, and requires someone with the ability to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders.
