RBLI – Training & Outreach Manager

Full time, permanent contract based in Aylesford with travel

37 hours per week

Main purpose of job:

Through acting as a source of experienced knowledge in the full range of training and employment disciplines, deliver innovative, cost effective and bespoke training programmes to a variety of cohorts aimed primarily, but not exclusively at the armed forces.

The role is a key enabler in identifying training needs, designing interventions, and evaluating results to ensure quality control across the LifeWorks product range.

This Line Management role includes proactive liaison with external agencies as well as colleagues across RBLI divisions.

Skills & Experience Required:

Essential:

  • Recent extensive experience of managing the design and delivery of training and coaching in a range of formats to a wide variety of learners in different environments
  • Demonstrable experience of successful training programme development, training development and delivery (including virtual web-based, classroom and train-the-trainer training methods)
  • A recognised training qualification CIPD or equivalent
  • Knowledge of how training and development impacts bottom line decision making and able to adjust strategy accordingly
  • Ability to lead a training and employment team
  • Ability to implement a training plan to assess, design, develop, and deliver end user training
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Desirable:

  • Experience of developing L&D strategy against the wider organisations S, M, L term planning objectives
  • Commercial acumen
  • Experience in working with people at all levels in an organisation, in both technical and non-technical capacities
